Harvest

Nineteen pints~from one tree

This past week we realized the mulberries were ripe, and when we started picking them...we knocked the branches and caught them in a sheet instead.  I plan to make sauces for pancakes and use them in smoothies.  I considered a pie until I realized how much sugar it would take, and we limit sugar in our diet right now.

The tomatoes are so good freshly picked!

How nice to have a harvest. I've never tasted mulberries before. I hope I get a sample someday.

Glad you are all at home. Many thanks to Jesus for carrying you through.

The above was my mother, Barbara. I guess I didn't sign out when I got off her computer. Sorry.

That is wonderful! I grew up with a huge mulberry tree in my backyard, so this brings back fond and warm memories of mulberry dumplings and eating them off the tree with my family. Love.
Enjoy!
