Doesn't this look like a great strawberry smoothie? Until you taste it...oh what a surprise!
We call it "poison", as the family who shared the recipe with us originally called it. It really cures you quick of what ales you. I made up the brew this morning for a family member who awoke with a sore throat. Here is what makes it "so good":
juice of 7-10 lemons
10 radishes
1/2 red onion
1/2 garlic bulb
1 T. honey
1 t. anise seed
Blend together...sip throughout the day...and enjoy ;)
We have found it to be effective in easing symptoms and duration of colds or flu.

Yay! I can comment again! This "poison" sounds very interesting, I'm gonna give it a try!
Our poison is a little different.
6 lemons (juice)
knob of ginger
1/2 onion
6 garlic cloves
1/2 c honey (for organic carbon)
1/2 tsp cayanne
Blend, pour into a quart jar, and add water to fill to the top. Works.
And now I know who you are. I remember you coming to my blog.
Your picture background is beautiful! But it might be making your blog slow, as far as scrolling, etc. goes.
I'm really into healthy drinks, but this is one health drink I haven't tried! Will have to try it sometime this winter!! Thanks!
How interesting. We recently purchased a bag of radishes because my daughter has a book by Celia Banks about seeds and the main character is a radish seed. I will have to try this.
