At 9 a.m. we heard a loud pop...our lights blinked off, clocks went blank , computers switched to battery mode, .and the phone ceased to work....Fortunately we have a cell phone on hand, gas water heater, gas stove, and gas fireplace! It took the repair team about half an hour to arrive. Then we watched them cut some branches that were touching the electrical wires at the house next door. As they were working, they cut a wire...
They had to call in another troop to handle those wires they cut accidentally
.And it just so happens to be the coldest day yet ...with drizzly rain.
Thanks to these guys...our electricity is back on after 2 hours.
Now I don't have an excuse...got to get some work done now that we have electricity!
