is the biggest cantaloupe yet from our weedy garden.... Picked yesterday
I was inspired to post updated pictures of our garden when I saw a friends blog... but during our 20 days of absence the weeds took over, and when I went out to work at weeding for a little while the other day before it got too hot I received a plague of chigger bites that I am suffering for right now. I should have known better...to at least put bug spray on! Oh the consequences of my choice.

That is so awesome that you have a cantaloup!! Don't feel too bad about your garden - our garden is not going as well as I would want it too. I have been disappointed in my "earthboxes." Next year there will be some changes for sure.
About your chiggers - my husband had a bad case of them and some one told him to us Listerine(yeah-mouthwash) and put it on the sores - he says it works great. Worth a try.
Hopefully it will clear up soon - I know it is miserable.
