Camping

The week before school started we took a quick trip to a state park.  We enjoyed listening to the rain on our tent when we awoke the first morning and wondered what the rest of the day would be like.  When the rain stopped we took off on our tubes rafting down the river. It stayed overcast to partly cloudy most of the day. This was a great relaxing experience just before heading off to college  classes.

Because there were not many people in the park we were able to pick a spot to spread our three tents out the way we wanted.
We baked our supper on the fire.  It tasted so good!
Swinging from a rope into the water made arms and legs sore, but they kept doing it!
There was a volleyball court...and we happened to have our volleyball along to use...
Just like the color combination of this picture
A pinched finger...a reminder of two rocks with finger between does not make a good sandwich.
A painful reminder to wear sunscreen
Happy Campers... ready for action(?)

Looks like a great adventure you had with your family, despite the finger mishap and the sunburn..

What a great way to end the summer! I hope that sunburn does not hurt too bad!
