Blogland has been a fun addition to my life. I so enjoy getting to know others through this process. However, in contemplating my time management skills...or lack thereof I realize that I can't keep up with blogging the way I want to! I want to read my favorite blogs out there...and that takes time. Too much time sometimes. It has made me wonder if I should just quit posting my own blog. Then I wouldn't be tempted to take so much time reading others. I am in a season of change in my life, and three college bound kids will soon be back home from their 6 week summer trip. They will need my time. The job title "chauffeur" will be brought out of the closet again along with being actively involved in my kids lives..Shuttling back and forth to classes and their activities will be in full swing. Will my blog disappear? No...but I do have to practice some time management skills ;o)
Here are a few pictures of summer highlights:
Visiting my uncle
Taking a swim
Finding a soft shelled turtle in the pool!
Checking out a furniture store with sisters
Celebrating a birthday with a tea party
Listening to good music
Prayer of dedication for the new school teachers
Experiencing a flood
Celebrating birthdays and Citizenship status.
Experiencing a baptism

You have been busy this summer! About reading blogs- I used to think that I needed to read every new one but I try to limit the amount of them that I am interested in following and then read the posts when I can and if i don't have time - just read the ones that really look interesting to me.
It also sounds like you will be busy once the kids get back. I hope you are able to get into a schedule and at least have a little time here and there.
Have a great day!
Lisa :O)
I kind of struggle with the blog thing too. I have to be careful it does not become an "idol" in my life..It can consume a lot of time. the Lord is speaking to me about more of Him and less of myself. So I am trying to be sensitive to His leading. I also struggle with the following aspect of it..As in I want the focus to be Christ Centered..I don't know, stuff to think about for me. I must admit when I had seen any posts from you I said a prayer for you..
Time management is an issue for me as well. I'm praying that the Lord guides me to do better. f
