Frost is not an issue for your citrus, right? We have some orange trees that my husband put in the ground rather than in pots. I'm not so sure they will make it through the winter.
When there is predicted frost you need to cover the trees while they are small. Once they get a little bigger it is impossible, and they can stand a little freeze. In fact once there is a light freeze on mature trees, the fruit gets sweeter. But baby them for a few winters. Yes, it does freeze here at least once a year.
