Salamander ?

 

As I was weeding out some very tall grass, I came across something that I did not expect to see.  I am pretty sure these are salamander eggs, as this long critter tried to find shelter.  He/She did not like my intrusion...

Not the greatest picture, but all the white spit could be salamander eggs.  That is my opinion...I could be wrong.  Wouldn't ya know it there is a foggy spot on the camera too...
