A picture of the concoction we use to keep the forever pests at bay. We used to spray the house for bugs, but with a compromised immune system, it is best to stay away from insecticides as much as possible. I had remembered a church number telling me once about something she used because they had allergies to insecticides. I was able to get the information, and now if you visit our home, you will see these re-used lids with this powder set in strategic places all around the house. The best thing about it~ it works! It terminates their life! I know most everyone who reads this don't have forever pests to worry about...but it never gets cold enough here for them to die. And if we do nothing they move right in and take over your dwelling.
The recipe:
1/3 part boric acid
1/3 part cornmeal
1/3 part sugar
Change every three months.

Whenever I use insect sprays, it messes with my sinuses something horrible... I'm off to find out if boric acid is sold in my neck of the woods.
