Oh No!!

Lately a drawer in the freezer has been harder than normal to pull out.  I thought something had gotten caught under it, but alas on closer inspection, I found a layer of ice under it. Now this is in a frost-less freezer that should not need to be defrosted!

 

 We proceeded to use a hair drier to help thaw it out the first time..and hoped it was just the door that had been left ajar sometime, causing a thaw and re-freeze.

 

Last night, as we were getting ready for bed, "J" came and knocked on the door, stating that there was water all over the kitchen floor.  (Sure glad we don't have carpet there!)  So Chief and I did some investigating, and sure enough... we think that there is plugged drain pipe, as the pan underneath appeared bone dry. So, today I took out the food that needed to stay cold, and stuck it into the fridge, while letting the freezer thaw to see if we can  find the real problem.  Sure hope it is easy to fix.
